For the next hour or two, I will be doing some of the behind the scenes management on The Pun Pony Project. This includes

  • Rebuilding the buffer on the Toxic Mario redistribution Tumblr after the individual responsible bailed.
  • Removing an artist from the project.
  • Adding several comics to the buffer and art assets.
  • General cleanup of the mail file.
  • Working on scripting for the “Redemption of Trixie” storyline.

As usual the webcam is on so I’ll be able to answer your questions about the project.

I was just in the kitchen preparing dinner when this Dashie blob came crashing through the ceiling and a-salt-ed me! You can see more of those darn blob ponies over at Ask MLCblobs and Ask Pony Bwobs!

With all the commotion about that Lyra plushie, Lyra has been under a lot of stress from some less than playful teasing. Fortunately that nice pony Stitches from Ask Stitches decided to send her a ‘proper’ Lyra plushie to ward off all those ones with a ‘special hole.’ You should go look up Stitches, she lives on the outskirts of town and though she might seem a bit ‘spooky’ she’s a darling.

Little known fact: a-silent-stalker was always hanging out in the Ask Pun livestream, even when we hadn’t announced that we were streaming. He had just left it logged in all the time. So instead of having to deal with him, we just made him a chatroom moderator. That’s turning a liability into an asset!

Marigold is rather involved in the local politics, as a tax increase or regulation change can significantly affect her business. She’s the sort that has a weekly lunch with the mayor of Ponyville.

Melony is a farmer’s daughter in every respect: hard working, a natural at agriculture, and wishing she was living a life of adventure or sophistication. She often dreams of living among Canterlot’s high society or traveling through an untamed wilderness on an adventure, though her attempts to run away have met with a lack of success. Her boyfriend Rubik is supportive of her dreams, often working behind the scenes to make her adventures less disastrous.

Starring: http://mylittlebacky.tumblr.com/ as the wet mare! With guest appearance by http://askpun.tumblr.com/ as the bro-sister!

Just because I like to keep my humor clean doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a good dirty joke!

Hah! That’s Marigold, my cousin who runs Golden Gardens. Of course, she prefers to go by ‘Ms. Gold’ when she’s doing business… and she does quite a bit of business! Her landscaping company employs dozens of ponies around Ponyville, and you’ll be seeing more of her and my other friends pretty soon!

Take a moment to remember all the jokes cut short before their punchline, whose punchlines fell on deaf ears, who fell to poor timing or an inappropriate situation.
